I commissioned a pastel painting from Monika Zhořová based on a photo taken shortly after I gave birth. She captured the tenderness and emotion of that special moment with incredible sensitivity. The details are delicate, the colors gentle, and the overall feeling so authentic. I later gifted the painting to my personal assistant as a keepsake of this powerful experience, and it was met with heartfelt admiration.

After a traumatic first birth while I had Covid and was separated from my baby for many weeks, I had such a healing journey birthing my second child at home without assistance or intervention and then separating from him in my own time and in reverence with a cord burning ceremony. It was such a huge blessing for our family and a transformative experience for me to birth and star our journey in this way. I wanted to treasure the moment and be inspired by it again and again. I feel so very grateful and touched by Monikas capturing of this incredible moment. I highly recommend having her create bespoke art for anyone who is wanting to treasure their big moments again and again.

Monika created a beautiful painting for me of the moment after I gave birth at home to my third child. The detail in the painting is phenomenal and shows perfectly the pure joy my husband and I felt in that moment. To be able to look back on this moment and show it to our children is incredible. Alongside the painting Monika wrote the words “I wish that every time you look at the painting, you see the superpower, beauty and love that are hidden in you.” This is exactly what I see in the painting, as well as the love I feel for my child. I recently gave birth to my fourth child and was able to use the painting and Monika’s words as inspiration during pregnancy and labour. I’ll treasure it forever. Thank you so much Monika!
